FLEX ver. 3.12.0.0 released

FLEX version 3.12.0.0 released: MDG1 ECUs with AURIX TC27x / TC29x, solutions for Ford vehicles and new features

We’ve reached another milestone in our study of MD1 & MG1 units and have released the newer models of AURIX TC27x / TC29x ECUs that mount Tricore processors giving you a solution that guarantees speed, reliability and competitiveness during the reading and writing process.

This FLEX SW version allows you to create an exact copy of the MG1 ECU installed on Ford brand vehicles. What’s more, we’ve also added OBD protocols for Ford MEDC17 and BMW MSD80/81 – MSV80 ECUs.

Last but not least, check out our “AutoDetect” function for the automatic detection and recognition of protocols.

Bugfixes:

  • Isuzu Denso SH72546 OBD & Bench: fixed an error on vehicle lists where this ECU had its MCU type set as SH72531 instead of SH72546.

Software improvements:

  • All BDM protocols: implemented auto detect feature. Now the protocol won’t answer with errors in case memory configuration is not as expected. This means that even if the ECU selection is wrong, it will still be possible to read and write.
  • Flex GUI: added Greek translation!
  • Flex GUI: improved Korean translation!
  • Hyundai & Kia Denso SH72546: added new CRC type
  • Suzuki Bosch ME17.9.64 Bench & Boot: added new CRC type
